Home Retail Group plc (“the Company”), which is the ultimate parent company of Home Retail Group (“the Group”), is a public limited company incorporated and domiciled in England under the Companies Act 1985 and listed on the London Stock Exchange. Home Retail Group is a home and general merchandise retailer.
These consolidated financial statements were authorised for issue by the Board of Directors on 2 May 2007.
The consolidated financial statements of Home Retail Group have been prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRSs”) and International Financial Reporting Interpretations Committee (“IFRIC”) interpretations as adopted by the European Union. They also comply with those parts of the Companies Act 1985 applicable to companies reporting under IFRSs.
